For me the best movie is..... Saving Pvt. Ryan. For taking a different, more real look at the war than other movies (that are all about lone/few bulky commandos winning the war and saving the world on their own). For great work done by actors and for not fearing to show blood and suffering to people. Period.

Spook, that is a FANTASTIC film. I saw it in the cinema when it first came out and the realistic portrayal of the D-Day landing gave me a tremendous appreciation for the men who fought. I literally sobbed through most of the movie.

I gotta say, I also LOVE Bruce Lee... He's my hero, he's who I wanna bee... 
But I also totally agree with Afton and Spook... LOVE those films also, and for the same reasons! Opening scene to SPR was just a jaw-dropper. I never considered that half the infantry didn't even make it ashore because of the weight of their gear. So real it was scary!
And yes, no one has ever described ESB better than Kevin Smith! Let's hope Clerks II doesn't blow chunks... It's got a lot riding on it...

Saw Clerks II the other night. It was hilarious. This time he takes the piss outta LOTR vs Star Wars and it is SO well done. Randall puts it perfectly (and I love the LOTR films). Much more foul language and a long racist words scene which almost made me wet myself. The character of Elias is what made that movie for me, though. He was the best of all the characters and the dialogues between him and Randall are unforgettable.
On a last note to describe the film, I'll say two words...

Any film with Adam Sandler has to be my fav, if you`ve never seen Hapy Gilmore or the waterboy you`ve never watched a comedy. I prefer comedies, but i`m a sucker for anything sci fi too, something i can really get into.....
