Pre-order packAnyone have the new pre-order pack for Nightfall? Jamie and I got them yesterday and found that you get a extra char slot for Nightfall and two exclusive weapons. Pretty nice...
Also, it gives a bit of the background story for it.

I got one of these packs over a week ago, but when I put the code in I got nothing. No new weapons and no extra slot... Pretty pissed about that because the extra char slot was my ticket to the preview weekend. So I missed out because I've spent too much time on my current chars to delete one just for a weekend preview of a char that gets deleted after the event.
As far as the weaps go, am I to assume you need 1 of the new profs to get them? With the Factions pre-order pack, all profs got the weaps by typing in /preorder, but I dunno if that works with the Nightfall pre-order weaps... How did you guys get them? And if you got your extra char slot, what did you do to get it? When mine didn't appear, I assumed I had to register the full Nightfall key to get my char slot (because it says on the back "extra character slot for your NIGHTFALL account").
Anyhoo, when the pre-order pack didn't grant me my char slot like I'd hoped, it further hindered my already diminished enthusiasm for the game (at the moment). I'm still looking forward to Nightfall though, just need some char slots to get me going on some new chars, 'cause I'm getting a little bored with the ones I have (but I still don't wanna delete them). I'm still yet to make a warrior and/or a monk, so they're on the to-do list...
I'm rambling again, so for my next trick, I will miraculously stfu... =oP

The code only becomes activated once you install the actual Nightfall game, so the extra character slot and free weapons won't be available until then (Oct 27th).
They look pretty cool though. And I can't wait til I get my CE edition! Woohoo! 
Please don't desert us, Jai. We miss you. I am in the same boat and only loggin on occasionally til Nightfall comes back. When Nightfall comes back, we're gonna have to dust off Vent as well.

Just to confirm my info: I heard that in most of stores the pre-packs are free, right?? Or did you guys have to pay for yours?? Because there are at least 2 'versions' I heard. And if they're not free, this would just create too much fuss with me sending the money to you etc. Anyways, thanks.

I got mine free for pre-ordering. Well, even if I didn't pre-order I woulda got it for free. Perks of the job I guess... But with my CE's of both Prophecies & Factions proudly on display, I'd be nucking futs not to pre-order the Nightfall CE... (especially when the box shot looks awesomly orgasmic  )
Anyhoo, yes, I miss talking to you guys on vent... Afton with your ultra-sexy American accent, and Jamie with your very few, but very funny words A shame I can't do it as often as I'd like due to your midday being my midnight, but we'll definately be blowing away that layer of dust when Night falls, hehe... (that was so so lame...  ). I haven't left it on for a while because I often had it on for 4 or 5 days straight and no one was using it, so got more and more sporadic with opening it after a reboot.
If you guys can't get hold of a pre-order pack for Spook, lemme know and I'll see what I can do. I know my store and at least 3 others have ran out, but I'll check around and see if I can track 1 down

Are you after the whole pre-order pack, or just the code that gives you the extra slot and weapons? Just for simplicity, we could easily e-mail you the images (wallpapers & concept art etc) and the code from the pack. That way no postage involved. Just a thought... In all honesty, the content isn't that spectacular. The wallpapers and trailers are mostly available on the GW site anyways. The Factions pre-order pack had a cool poster (female sin render *drool*), but no poster present with the Nightfall pack 
One last thing guys: I know it's a bit hard to say before release, but what do you think the chances are of getting 2 bonus char slots if you put in 2 pre-order codes? A bit too much wishful thinking?

I agree with Jai, though, Spook. The pre-order pack isn't that big of a deal. You do get the new items and a slot but that's about it. Just let me know if you want one though.
Also, Jai, I don't think that putting two pre-order kit keys will work, but since you work for a store and can probably get your hands on a couple, you might as well give it a go and let us all know what happens!

I'm just after the code tbh. There nothing in there except the code that you can't simply download. If you guys would manage to get your hands on a free pre-pack, I'd be very grateful. But if the stores already ran out of stock, just drop it. It's just a bonus and I don't want to cause you any problems.

Yeah, sorry about my lengthy posts... I guess I just get carried away sometimes and before I know it 3 paragraphs have appeared before my very eyes! 
Not too sure if I can get any extras though at this stage. We were only sent enough pre-order packs to cover the current pre-orders plus 2 extra. Here's the stoopid part though: We received the packs on the 20th of September --> Game is released on 27th of October. So basically they expected those spare 2 to cover us for over a month. Needless to say, the next day after release of the pre-order pack I had 4 pre-orders in 1 day! So there goes the 2 spares, plus I had to scout around other stores to cover the other 2. Similarly, all the other EB stores got 2 extras on top of their pre-order count. But similar to the LEGO Star Wars thing, it's a 'while stocks last' case, so I guess that's their way of saying people shoulda pre-ordered before the release of the packs if they wanted one bad enough... Ncsoft made the pack pretty public, so... Anyhoo, I got mine, but I gotta be the bad guy and say "Sorry, ran out of those", so they can say "Whaaa, what's the point of offering it then, whaaa! Boohoo!"... Bloody hell, working at EB is cool and all, but you get some serious wankers there. But I've already had a spew about that before, so I shall refrain from going any further into THAT one...
Well, I will still try to see if I can get a spare for you Spook. Even though the content isn't that super duper, the code will still be of some worth to you (we could all use a spare char slot ). And if I get lucky enough to score 2 extras (highly unlikely), I will put a second key on my account to see if I get a second free slot! (again, highly unlikely)
