I'm assuming you mean the forum ads for purchasing in-game money in Guild Wars with real money? If so, then I would say you'd be fine with PayPal because they have a good rep, it doesn't cost any extra to make a payment, and if the seller does a dodgy PayPal has ways of dealing with them to get your cash back...
The only concern I would have is that you're buying from someone who didn't earn that in-game money legitimately. ie. used a hack or bot to get free money, then charge people real money for their 'aquired' gold. Aside from, sounds like a good deal =o)

Yeah, they usually are done by bots, but if you're desperate for a lot of gold and have the cash/paypal, it can be helpful.
I don't really condone it because the bots are what mess up the whole economy and make things more expensive/harder to get and they're usually in places like Fort Aspenwood mooching faction
